He's usually gone for about a week.
Lame.
He loves it though, so whatever. I went with him one year, and it was fun when you actually found elk (or anything for that matter). But 891/2% of the time you are just hiking in freezing weather.
Kyle says it's okay to shoot these animals because we eat them.
eat them? ...............HaH!
I still have last year's elk in my freezer. Never once have I asked Kyle what he wanted for dinner and heard him say hmmm...ELK sounds lovely!
So pretty much, Kyle's just a murderer.
I was actually looking up ways to prepare elk meat... there are all of these "tricks" to make it taste like beef. Why not just eat beef? Just a thought.

That's hillarious. I think it's just a sweet excuse to hang out with the guys. Robbie loves fishing in Alaska. When he comes home there are more funny stories about the guys than the fish!
It was pretty cool last year when dallas ran into kyle up at boulder! Dallas really likes elk meat and the best way to cook it is in butter...I won't eat it being pregnant or even cook it but that's the best way if you HAVE to have it! haha
