Enjoy the Journey: Secondhand Serenade Concert

This was our first "post-baby date". We went to see Secondhand Serenade. It was so fun to just be out with my sweet husband again! We doubled with our friends, Stephen & Lancia Darvaux. It was their first PBD also! They have a baby boy named Lykan. He is a doll.

Rodney was there with his friends too.

Fun Moments with Khloe

Kyle was really sore from Crossfit and as he sat down he mentioned that his butt was sore. Khloe got a really concerned look on her face and asked "Daddy's butt sore? Change it?" It was so cute! She was so worried about her daddy needing a diaper change. She is such a sweetie!

In the morning I have the best alarm clock ever! My sweet little girl comes in ot my room and climbs into my bed to wake me up. She usually puts her face two inches away from mine and smiles hugely while saying things like: "g'morning! Wake up! Breakfast?..... eggs?......Cereal?....I miss you!.... Morning mom! LOVES!(then hugs my head really tight)... etc" IT's amazing! I can't help but wake up happy everymorning to her sunshiney little face!

So this morning when we got back from the route, Khloe and I climbed into my bed to go back to sleep like we always do. For some reason, Khlo just wouldn't fall back asleep even though she was way tired. She was trying really hard too. Finally she whispers "Hey..." and I said, yes Khlo?? and she says "guess what..." and I ask what? She didn't know what was supposed to come after "guess what" so she just would just say "what?" like I'd asked her something. Then she would start over... "Hey...." "guess what..." I couldn't help but laugh. Her little whispers were so cute. She did this like four or five times before I just stopped answering her and we went to sleep.

Yesterday Khloe went to the store with my mom and a lady came up to them. She was just a sweet lady, saying how cute Khloe was and everything. Then the lady said "Goodby Sweetie!" and left. About three minutes later while walking down a random isle Khloe looked over her shoulder and yelled "GOODBYE SWEETIE!" then afew steps later "GOODBYE SWEETIE!" She just kept saying it the whole time they were in the store.

If you've ever watched the show "24" you'll understand...
Me- "Khloe, What does Jack Baur say?"
Khloe-"NO TIME!" (then she makes a gun with her hands and starts shooting)
I'm so proud.

Kyle was using the bathroom and Khloe yells "Daddy! What Doing?" so Kyle tells her, "I'm going potty." So Khloe yells, "GOOD BOY!!"
